Tigerlilly, a Natural Choice for Great Presents

Naturally beautiful jewelry and accessories from Tigerlilly make great gifts for one and all! Come visit Allison and Brett from Tigerlilly at the 2012 Merry Mart. They create jewelry and men’s accessories from their studio in right around the corner from the Creative Alliance. They are inspired by the place where the city, history, and nature meet.

Tigerlilly's preserved botanical jewelry items are created directly from locally collected organic specimen, pressing them into metal. Using the electroforming process, nature specimen such as acorns and twigs are encased in copper. Brett’s new line of belt buckles, tie clips, and cufflinks are made using various metal fabricating and casting techniques. They also make a line of button earrings, bracelets, and hair accessories reusing Japanese Kimono textiles.

As Sweet as a Pinkkiss

Pinkkiss pottery is a line of handcrafted ceramic housewares made by Shawna Pincus.  Pinkkiss pottery is handmade from slabs of clay that are rolled thin and formed over a hand thrown mold or cut from an original pattern and shaped.

Shawna hand paints all of her work using underglazes much as a painter would use paints. She also print on the surface using my own technique of blockprinting, stamping and screen printing. Each piece is coated with studio made food safe glazes and fired in her electric kiln making them strong and safe to use on a daily basis.
