Artist and Jewelry Designer Laurie Flannery delights in adornment of the body, using metal as her primary material.
Inspired by the interplay of shapes, space and proportion, and often directed by the material itself, each piece is handcrafted in her Baltimore studio. A variety of fabrication techniques are used, as well as a variety of materials. Primarily constructed from silver, copper and bronze, additional materials may include steel, string, rubber, pearls or shells.
